The West of Ireland’s most spectacular leisure cycle takes place on Saturday 9th May 2020. Choose from two routes, 80 km and 150 km taking in the breathtaking scenery of Croagh Patrick, Mweelrea (Connacht’s highest mountain), Doolough Lake, Delphi, Killary Fjord, Ashleigh Falls, Leenane village and the shores of Lough Mask in Tourmakeady
80km Route: The 80km cycle should be accessible to all leisure cyclists, it sets out from the bustling town of Westport and heads west along the R335 taking in the breathtaking views of Ireland’s famous mountain Croagh Patrick on the left and the 365 islands of Clew Bay on the right.
150km Route: This route starts and finishes at the same place, The Towers Bar and Restaurant, The Quay Westport. The 150km cycle with 5 categorized climbs will offer a good test for all riders. Remember the biggest climb is at the end of the day, so conserve your energy wisely.
All routes are fully supported with water and food stops along the way.
