This hostel is situated in one of Ireland’s most westerly islands. Inishbofin is a beautiful island, 6 km in length and 3.5 km wide, with several magnificent sandy beaches which are safe for swimming.
The hostel building was originally a traditional farmhouse which was converted into a modern hostel, yet retaining all the character and charm of the old building. The hostel has 38 beds with duvets & linen provided, full self-catering kitchen facilities, central heating and free showers.
It’s large conservatory (winter garden) offers spectacular views of the Connemara mountains and coastline. It has a cosy sitting room, complete with a stove and a good selection of books and magazines. We have family rooms, private rooms and small dorms, plus a self-catering kitchen.
